Our Craft

Building on over thirty years of experience and more than 80 custom boats, and carrying on the proud Carolina boatbuilding tradition that spans more than 50 years, Scarborough still considers boat building a high art, balancing the finest craftsmanship with practical, innovative design, one boat at a time.

What makes a true Carolina boat is pride and craftsmanship with parts meticulously fit one piece at a time. An interior that takes your breath away and seaworthiness that is legendary. It’s a hand worn free of fingerprints from years of feeling for that perfect finish, and an eye that counsels the most minuscule of changes to get the lines just right.
